Something that happens to you that affects how you feel
Experience is something that happens to you that affects how you feel. It is influenced by your perspective, expectations, memories, and emotions.
Experience is cumulative, it is built up by multiple interactions or transactions over time. Each moment can have a positive or negative impact on the overall experience.
Experience is about outcomes, not steps in a process. You measure it by the value and satisfaction that people derive from their interactions with an organisation, product, or service.
By understanding the relationships between sentiment, technical and operational data, we can craft outcomes that take us from providing a transactional service to providing an experience.
